We are proud to announce the partnership of TotalFit Solutions with the Rotary Club of Los Gatos, the Health Trust, and Samaritan Regional Hospitals. Together we are providing much needed fitness equipment, training and resources to the students at Thomas P. Ryan Elementary School of the Alum Rock School District and monthly fitness programming to the community.

Childhood obesity is on the rise with an increasing number of California’s children at risk for developing diabetes thru a lifetime of inactivity eventually leading to earlier death. The number one way to offset this statistic is to increase the levels of fitness and health in our children. FitKids First kits are designed to reach out to children of all ethnic backgrounds and social classes.
We successfully deployed six FitKids First kits in grades 4, 5 and 6.

We have found that it is important to involve the entire family in embracing healthier health and wellness lifestyles. This is why we launched a series of FitFamily Saturdays designed to engage the Thomas P. Ryan Elementary School community in physical fitness activities. The Rotary Club of Los Gatos membership was trained in basic physical fitness moves that they supervise during the FitFamily Saturdays. This is a fantastic community service project.

Bring a towel or a mat for the ground and a water bottle. Arrive by 9 am for weigh-in and body composition testing.
